Çok düşündüm Paris hakkında bir yazı yazsam mı yazmasam mı diye. Yıllardır hayalini kurup, gitmek istediğim Paris, bana biraz hayal kırıklığı oldu açıkçası. Belki ben gerektiği gibi gezemedim, gidilmesi gereken yerlere gidemedim bilmiyorum ama sadece şehir bile bana fazla metropol geldi. O romantik Paris havasını hissedemedim. Yine de gittiğim, gezdiğim yerleri paylaşmak istedim.

I thought a lot about whether I do a post about Paris or not. I have been dreaming a lot about going to Paris, but it was a little bit of disappointment. I don't know, maybe I couldn't go around the city the way I should or I couldn't go to the places I should but even the city was way more a metropolis to me than I thought. I couldn't feel that romantic air of Paris bu still I want to share my experience.
Tabi ki demiyorum ki Paris' e gitmeyin. Kesinlikle görülmesi gereken bir şehir. Örneğin Eiffel kulesini fazla abarttıklarını düşünüyordum ama kendi gözlerimle görünce büyüsüne kapıldım, çok etkilendim gerçekten de. Tabi bir de Disneyland var ki, hangi yaşta olursanız olun o tecrübeyi yaşamanız gerekiyor. Sadece şehrin aşırı kalabalık olması, metro gibi yerlerin pis ve bakımsız olması, çok büyük ve çok pahalı bir şehir olduğundan gezmenin zor olması gibi detaylar sanırım beni soğuttu.
I am not saying "Don't go to Paris". It's a place that should be seen definitely. For instance, I had been thinking that The Eiffel Tower was overrated but when I saw it with my own eyes, I felt under its spell, I really was impressed. Of course, there was a Disneyland that no matter what age you are, you should experience it. Very crowded city, dirty and neglected subways, because of being big and expensive it was hard to go around the city.... I suppose details like that drew me away.

-Disneyland : Sabah en erken saatte gidip bütün gününüzü geçireceksiniz. Bu nedenle biletinizi internetten alıp gitmek zaman kaybını önlüyor. İki tane park var, alabiliyorsanız ikisi için de bilet alın. İçerideki yiyecek içecek bölümleri biraz pahalı, yanınıza atıştıracak bir şeyler getirebilirsiniz. Hediyelik satan mağazaları gezince çıldıracaksınız, eminim. O kadar pahalı olmasa daha çok şey alırdık kesinlikle.
-Disneyland: You'll spend your whole day from earliest morning. Thats why, buying the tickets from the web site avoids time loss. There are two parks, if you can, buy tickets for both. You can take things to eat with you, because the food court is very expensive. When you see the gift shops , I am sure that you will go crazy. We would buy more if it wasn't so expensive.
-Louvre Müzesi: Ünlü Mona Lisa tablosunu da bünyesinde barındıran müze. Sabah erkenden gitmekte fayda var, kapısında sıra olabiliyor. Mutlaka görülmesi gereken yerlerden. Büyük bir müze olduğundan, zamanınızı alabilir. Eğer tüm eserleri dikkatlice incelemek istiyorsanız bütün gününüzü ayırın.
-Louvre Museum: The famous Mona Lisa painting is in this museum. It's good to go early in the morning, there can be a line. You should definitely see this museum. It can take your time because the museum is very big. If you want to examine all the pieces, give a whole day.
- Versay Sarayı : Görkemiyle büyüleyen yerlerden. Yine gününüzün çoğunu alabilir. Çok büyük bir bahçesi var. Bol bol fotoğraf çektirin.
-Palace of Versailles: Fascinates with its charm. It can take your whole day. The palace has a enormous garden, take lot of pictures.

- Eiffel Kulesi: İnsanlar neden bu kadar abartıyorlar şu metal yığınını anlamıyorum derken, gittim, gördüm ve büyülendim. Şehrin bir kaç noktasından da görülebiliyor ve her gördüğünüzde etkileniyorsunuz. Akşam vakitlerinde gidin, içerisinde asansör var ve en tepesine çıkıp şehri o ışıklarla kuş bakışı görmek lazım çünkü.
-The Eiffel Tower: While I had been saying what is the big deal about this huge metal mass, I went, saw and was fascinated. It can be seen from different spots of city and every time you see it, you are amazed. Go at the evening hours, there is an elevator and you can go all the up to the top, The city should be seen with city lights.
- Notre Dame Katedrali : Her gün açık ve ücretsiz. Kulelere çıkmak isterseniz ücret ödemeniz gerekir. Biz öğleden sonra gittiğimizde ayine denk gelmiştik. Kathedralin sitesinden detaylı bilgi alabilirsiniz.
-Note Dame Cathedral: It is open and free everyday. If you want to go up to the towers, you have to buy a ticket. We went in the afternoon and there was a ceremony. For detailed info go to cathedral's web site.
- Champ Elysees Bulvarı : Paris' in en ünlü caddesi, bizim bağdat caddesi gibi. Cadde boyunca dünyaca ünlü markalar var, pek alışveriş yapılacak yer değil belki ama havası güzel.
-Champ Elysees Boulevard: The most famous street of Paris. There are famous brands throughot the boulevard. It's not a place for shopping but the you should feel the air.
-Arc De Trimphoe: Türkçesi zafer takı demek. Champ Elysees caddesinin batısında yer alıyor. Bilet alıp içerisine girebiliyorsunuz, biz tercih etmedik açıkçası.
-Arc De Trimphoe: It is located west of Champ Elysees Boulevard. To go inside, you must buy tickets.
-Lüksemburg Bahçeleri: Giriş ücretsiz, içerinde opera binası bulunuyor. Şehri gezmekten yorulduğunuzda atıştırmalık bir şeyler alın ve buraya gelip biraz dinlenin.
-Jardin du Luxembourg: It is free pass, Inside there is an opera house. When you are tired visiting the city, get something to eat and rest here.
-Sacré-Cœur Bazilikası: Şehre göre yüksek bir noktada bulunuyor. Belli bir noktaya metroyla gelip, ordan da teleferiğe binmenizi tavsiye ederim. Ben sporcuyum, çıkarım ya o merdivenleri derseniz siz bilirsiniz tabi :)
-Sacré-Cœur Basilica: It is located high in comparison to the city. I recommend you take subway to some point and take the lift. If you say I am sportive person, I can take the stairs, be my guest :)

And what did we eat ? My favourite part :)
Eric Kayser: Fransa'daki bagetlerin ve kruvasanların lezzetinden artık bahsetmeme gerek yok sanırım. Burası da bagetleri ile ünlü olan bir yer. Sabah kahvaltısı için gelinip, baget sandviç yenebilir. Fakat kruvasanlarını bagetinden daha çok beğendim açıkçası.
Eric Kayser: I don't need to talk about how good baguettes and croissants are in France. This place is also famous with its baguettes. You can come here for breakfast and have a baguette sandwich. On the other hand I did like the croissants more than baguettes.
Pierre Hemme: Makaronlarıyla ünlü. Çok değişik aromalarda makaronlar bulabilirsiniz. Birazcık pahalı ama makaron sevdalısıysanız mutlaka deneyin denerim :)
Pierre Hemme: Famous for its macarons. You can find different flavors of macarons here. It's little bit expensive but if you are a macaron fan, definitely try, I say :)
Patrick Roger: Çeşit çeşit çikolataları bulabileceğiniz bir yer. Butik bir yer olduğu için fiyatlar yüksek gelebilir ama birkaç tane çikolata tatmaktan zarar gelmez. Oradaki görevliye siz önerin diyerek farklı lezzetler tadabilirsiniz. Ben dedim gerçi biraz pişman oldum ama fesleğenli limonlu çikolatayı bir daha nerede bulacağım :)
Patrick Roger: It's a place that you can find different types of chocolates. Maybe the prices seems like little expensive but there is no harm trying couple of chocolates. You can also ask the person at the counter and taste new flavors. I did and regretted but where I can find lemon-basil flavored chocolate but here :)
La Cure Gourmande: Çok şirin bir yer. Tereyağlı kurabiyeler ve şekerler var. Sevdiklerinize hediye alabilirsiniz. Gayet şık teneke kutuları var, içindeki kurabiyeler bittikten sonra da kullanabilirsiniz.
La Cure Gourmande: It is a very cute place. There are butter cookies and candies. You can buy presents for your loved ones. They have very elegant tin can, you can use it after finishing the cookies.
L'Atlas: Sokak kenarında oturabileceğiniz, otururken sokak müzisyenlerini dinleyebileceğiniz, biraz turistik biraz klasik Fransız restoranı. Yediklerimizin hepsinden çok memnun kaldık. Ben ördek tercih ettim, ilk denememdi ve çok beğendim.
L'Atlas: This classic French restaurant is little bit turistic, you can sit by the street, while sitting, you can listen street musicians. We all liked what we had. I tried duck, it was my first time and I loved it.
Le Relais de I'Entrecote: Bizim bildiğimiz Cafe de Paris soslu antrikotun en iyisini yiyebileceğiniz bir yer. Paris'te gidip en beğendiğim yerdi. Antrikot ve sos inanılmazdı. Yanında gelen patates kızartması müthişti. Fix menüleri var, onun dışında başka bir şey yok. Antrikot, patates kızartması ve salata 26,50 euro idi. Anrikotunuz soğumasın diye 2 parçada getiriyorlar. Ev yapımı şaraplarını ve muhteşem ötesi creme brulee yi mutlaka deneyin.
Le Relais de I'Entrecote: Best rib steak ever. This place was my favourite place in Paris. Rib steak and the sauce were delicious. The french fries were amazing. They have fix menus and there is nothing else. Rib steak, french fries and salad were 26,50 euros. They bring your steak into two parts to avoid steak to cool down. You must try homemade wine and incredible creme brulee.
Bunlar benim Paris seyahatimden kalanlar. Eminim çok çok daha güzel yerler vardır. Ben nereye gidilir nerede ne yenir araştırması yaparken biraz kaybolmuştum açıkçası. O nedenle kendi araştırmanızı yapmakta fayda var. Bu arada rahat bir yürüyüş ayakkabısı mutlaka götürün, çok yürüyeceksiniz.

This is all I can tell about my Paris vacation. I am sure there are other amazing places. I did get lost while searhing where to go and to eat. Thats why you should do your own research. By the way, bring a nice sneakers, you will walk a lot.
Magnificent Vienna is next... :)
